Hi all,

Can someone identify the part circled in this photo? It doesn't stay up and I noticed the pin was missing. I bought a new pin and hardware from Yamaha but have no clue how to install. I figured if i knew what it was called, i could google/youtube it.

Thank you!

If this is for your 2005 Rs venture it’s the outside spring.not much info on these online but the owners manual is available online, otherwise become a vip member&see if mr sled has a service manual he can send you electronically.sorry not much other info avail

Go to Port Yamaha web site you can see it is #35&36 on the parts fiche. Spring holder I would imagine in the vertical it would work for two up riding, horizontal for one rider.

that looks like the torsion spring overload blocks on a venture. need to figure out them as i have a set to add to my apex xtx.
