So I have installed billet ts now (thanks to Jannety Racing for the 23 hour turnaround ) I put an inflatable plug in the turbo inlet and pressurized to 10psi and soaped up now no leaks , i put everything back together , fired it up and wham it ran like a champ... got all excited dragged it outside and nope started doing the same thing ... I brought it back in rechecked everything ,,,,,nothing so i set up and pressurized again ...no leaks . I put everything back together and again it runs like it should at least for about 15 seconds then it went lean and did the same thing . so i figured when i pressurized i flooded it and it liked the fuel , so i checked fuel pressure after the reg . it was 3to4 psi then i checked unregulated and blew my gauge (oops ) ............new gauge installed on regulated side i adjusted the reg to 5-6 psi and tried that . It still did the same thing . I pinched the return side off of the reg and it came to life but when i let off the throttle it flooded . So why do i need such high fuel pressure ? Are there inlet screens on these carbs and mine are plugged?
