I just went out to put my heated shield harness on and the damn thing had a dead battery, so i jumped it. I let it run for some time and then went back out a couple days later and nothing. Battery is dead! Did anyone have to buy a battery yet this year and if so where did u get it and how much $ did u drop.

Thanks in advance guys

Im interested in this as well. Although I kept a battery tender on my 09 nytro this winter, I may be changing it since its 3 years old and if it dies out on the trail your screwed!!!

I dropped a Walmart battery in my 05 Vector 4 years ago and it's still holding a good charge. The original battery was flat after 2 years.

not entirly, I have seen an rx1 be pull started before along side the trail, he took a pull rope and wrapped it around the cluct and after a few pulls it started right up. not something you wanna do all the time but it worked

It can be done, I've done it with my sled, but only once it was already warm, i dont think i would want to try cold!

i am new to 4 stroke snowmobiles but the odssey battery is the best battery for my stand up jetski it has a aftermarket flywheel with no charging system (Total loss ignition) and the battery is pretty stressed and I have not had to swim to shore yet 4th year of use.
