I have a clutching question for you techy guys. 2009 Apex ER - stock clutching(Yellow-Silver-Yellow) long spring in the primary. Current engagement is about 3700-3800 rpms. I would like to raise the engagement to about 4500 rpms, but maintain the full shift rpm. The yellow-silver-yellow spring is 35-118 kg. What spring should I use to get the engagement up about 600-800 rpms. I see that Yamaha has a 40, 45, and 50 kg option all with similar kg at the shift(33mm). I would appreciate your thoughts and help.

Thanks! Can anyone confirm what the engagement would be with the W/W/W(45kg) spring?

What engagement RPM are some of you guys running?
What do the clutch kits do for engagement?

4500 rpm engagement is awfully high unless your drag racing with a lot of studs on a very hard surface.

I agree with Turk.
