NEED HELP.....CLUTCHING!!!!!!!

I'm at sea level, I have stock gears. I have no belt slippage. Our snow here in newfoundland can range from deep powder to hard setup snow. It seems like to me that the purple secondary spring is to stiff and that's what causing it to hit the limiter at start. Is this possible? And I'm using a brand new 8jp belt

If the clutch are in good shape and move freely, I would say start with conservative secondary you know that should work, and then tune the primary to work with. I have the same feeling pro116 have about belt slipping in the secondary, and maybe with the 11g added to the heel it cannot recover and then stay at 8000 when the belt start to grab. I rode a friend Turbo MTX with the stock 43° and pink spring at 2-6, and it worked well. Not saying it is the best performing Turbo I seen, but it would'nt act like Joshua sled. It used G-Force clutch flyweights with only weight added to the tip, and it goes from 8500 at lunch to 8900 up top. Joshua XTX is geared longer, and the bigger helix should load the engine more on take off.

Try the pink if you dont have already tested it.

Wish I had a personal car to get to you, I'm in Fermont right now..

Sorry for all the fast reply! I am going to bed right there! But I would prefer to use a used but good shape 8JP than a new one for clutch tuning.
