GOING TO THE DEALER NEXT WEEK TO PURCHASE A 2007 APEX RTX,FEEL FREE FOR ANYONE TO CHIME IN ON WHAT TO LOOK FOR OR MAKE THEM REPLACE ANYTHING BEFORE I BUY IT,IT HAS 5,000 MILES...!!!I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER FOR 10+YRS OWNING A 2000SRX(NEVER SELLING) AND FINALLY JUMPING TO A 4 STROKE

front bushings and exhaust donuts most need to be changed by 5000 miles

Exhaust donuts, idler wheels and hyfax are the typical wear items to replace.
Getting it dialed in for your riding style will be where additional time and money will be spent.
Have had this sled since 07 and 10,000 miles on it. Besides the above and shock rebuilds, have had no mechanical issues.
Additions you may consider would be modding the hand warmers and going to a 23T top gear. Enjoy your new toy!

Where are you? I have a 07 RTX For sale with alot of upgrades.

A lot of people are not a big fan of the o7 rtx skid. Personally I would opt for one with mono shock. The mono skids have the adjuster on side of tunnel.

I hope to have my '07 GT sold by Haydays or on a trailer with a couple other sleds at the show. Otherwise I will have mine listed on Craigslist very soon. Video is shot and just needs to be edited. All of the above mentioned are valid things to watch for. You will love it having had an SRX in the past as well. On my second Apex now! WOO WOO!
