I've got my fuel tank and seat back on and all connectors connected - Now I have the yellow warning light flashing and the fuel tank symbol flashing on the display. I took apart the sending unit and - rechecked all connectors - no luck. I've filled and drained the tank a couple of times - always comes up the same.
Anybody know what his could be ??

I Think I know the one you are talking about - I followed the wire from the plug on the white capped sending unit under the seat and found where it connects in to another plug - I guess I didn't unplug it and reconnect it but it looked solid - still no luck

NO.....there are TWO WIRES that have PLUGINS.....if you had read my exhaust donut step by step thread, you would see MANY PICTURES of seat, tank installation....i recommend you look at that thread first.
once again.....there are TWO wire plugins on tank...you must have removed them when you took it off.....and forgot?????
the MAIN plugin is obvious,as its at rear of tank, under seat along with were the FUEL LINE hooks up.
the SMALLER PLUGIN is on FRONT OF TANK,sitting on the sled its located on LEFT front side downward about 6 inches....you MAY be able to see this if you remove the lft side panel and secondary clutch.
as i said...you probably didnt plug that in.

Thanks - I saw your pictures and that connector looks familiar - I thought I got that one connected, but I'll double check - appreciate the help!
EXCELLENT post on the donuts, by the way!

Awesome info.. Thanks! Had sled all apart for maintenance and the donut check, and flashing lights, low fuel, and here's my answer.
Also, for FYI I had an 84 flashing, only after a 3 point turn or 2, I found the cable end, at the fuel rail end, jumping the adjuster barrel. A ty wrap around the cable and the metal cable guide fixed it.
Thanks, TY!
