.......
I have 4000 kms on my sliders and there really isn't much wear. I run my track as loose as it can be without ratcheting (which really isn't that loose on the Venture) and I make an effort to get snow in there whenever possible.
I loosened the track so that there was about 1.5 inches of sag at the lowest spot (most sag). I rode it like that and it was fine but it skipped (or ratcheted) under hard accelaration so I tightened it, one turn of the adjusters at a time, until it didn't ratchet anymore. I can't recall how much it sags the way it's adjusted now (maybe an inch). On my SRX, I can let it sag more than that without issues, and it might have to do with the fact that the Expert X suspension compresses more under acceleration than the Venture suspension does.
