Here is the info on Yamaha site. Not much details on breath box other than it has a removable one. lol

Has anyone actually "Touched" one of these? I'm just curious how they compare to the BV2S, mainly in the "Breath Box Area". I really like mine, but I'm always open to something better.

Was at the big East show today, and got to see this helmet in person, and I was disappointed. First it kinda didn't look like the one in the pics in this thread, second and the most disappointing was the so called "removable breath box" it's not like bv2 box at all, I think heated shild will be a must even with double shield it has, and then there's a $500 price tag .

I kind of had a feeling that this would be the case from looking at the pictures, they talk of a "great breath box", but it just didn't look that way in the pic's. Thanks for the heads up.

It looks like a lot of pieces to either break or fall off.

Agree. It is cf helmet but the chin guard portion looks like shiny black plastic and it clips on aswell as the shield being removeable.... For anything more than 150-200 it's only gonna attract those that want to say they had a $500 helmet to their buddies an chicks at the bar
