New additions......

You will bend the rods before you lift the head. Doo head studs are 1mm bigger in diameter than Yamaha's and use more threads for holding power. The quickest Turbo XR1200 on ice & grass isn't running studs or rods (its stock). Just trying to save you some work.

Not to bash or anything, but the fact that the AC is running 30+psi and the other 2 are very close with much less boost isnt really impressing me... I think its more impressive that your Dads sled, on 15-17psi, is right there in all the runs you explained. I know too that there are alot of variables there, but anything over 22-25 is A TON of boost. Its just my own opinion....

go to dynotechresearch.com, join up, and check out the test results for A/C, Ski-doo, Yamaha, pretty much everything. 30 psi in the A/C motor is not the same as 30 psi in the Yamaha or Ski-doo. All the dyno results for Full Power, D&D, everyone. Lots of interesting insights from some of the best minds in the snowmobile world.

Here are some results taken from different tests on dynotech's site;

Full Power Ski-doo 1200 @ 11psi -- 250 HP
D&D A/C Z1 @ 22psi -- 267 HP
CPR Apex @ 11 psi -- 246 HP

Cool stuff in there, well worth the join up fee.

Those Apex #s look familiar AJ ?
