New air box lid from Yamaha

Has anyone seen this thing yet? Any ideas what it will be?
I'm wondering if it is a raised lid of some sort????

I believe its just a overprice piece of colored plastic that will sit on top of the stock air box!

Atleast thats what i remember about it from seeing it in the 07 parts catalog

I would hope it will be more than just that....this costs like 70 bucks. That's alot of cake for a small colored piece of plastic.

This is what I was thinking. I won't have the stock air box anymore ( Supercharger ) But I was thinking of a way to keep a stock look. I'm wondering if I could open up the stock lid I have now to act like a scoop like the one from BPE ( which I have also )?????

Any one with some ideas on how to convert the stock ( New box mod )lid into a hood scoop?

This new lid will be ex. for home ram air!! As of open and close i will be workin on that as soon as i get sample !!!!!!
