Well everyone I was in Traverse City this weekend and we made a lot of progress. I don't see any reason why this kit won't be ready to hit the field for clutch testing in early September. Cost is probably going to be about 3000.00 to 3500.00 US. We will dyno the kit with EGT's to determine what the max Boost on pump fuel will be. Right now with the Data we've collected it should be 8 to 10 pounds of boost. Our kits will use the stock Gas tank and there will be no large holes cut into the chassis. Our kit will Make the same HP as the Bender, Simons and MC Express.


Not only are we going to offer the Turbo kit but there will options. Water Alcohol injection being the first. This option gives you the ability to run up to 12 pounds of boost on pump fuel. Of course we'll offer a clutch setup for everyone as well. I plan on doing extensive test with Heavy Hitters, and Heel Clickers. Hopefully we can find a good combo with both weights for those of you that have them already. The clutching will be extra but it will be well worth it.

Some of you may have questions about the kit when it hits the market. One of them is intercooling. We are not going to have an intercooler. Now if you look deeper into this topic you will find that intercooling is a slightly more efficient way to make more HP. The most efficient way to make HP with turbo charging is a blow trough fuel injection system. It can make as much as 30hp more then carburetion. However after several conversations with "MR. Turbo" We've decided that for the extra dollars it's not worth the 2 to 5 hp we would make to justify it. People will tell you there will be detonation issue with this. They are flat out wrong. Turbo charging has been around for a very long time and it wasn't until the last 5 years that intercooling has become popular. Prior to Intercooling there weren’t any detonation issues. We've been in contact with Mr. Turbo for over 6 months. Mr. Turbo has been building Turbo kits for 25 years and they don't currently make a kit that uses an intercooler. They currently race a GSXR 1100 using the same configuration as are kit. It makes over 300 HP at the rear wheel. They've run this bike for over 4 of years 3 times weekly at the track on pump fuel at 10 pounds of boost with zero problems. We are confident in there Turbo charging Knowledge and feel 100% confident with this decision. I have ammo on this topic so please email me.

Will it be able to beat the Hyabusa on the video? I think the speedo is climbing faster than the tach on that thing. Progress seems to be coming along well, should make for an interesting season this year.

I thought that your turbo was going to be a lot lower priced then the others.Benders site says there turbo is $2395 for the 180 hp kit.I'm sure yours will be better but was under the assumption it would be lower priced. Mike
 
Silver: That kit even if it was 2500.00 isn't equal value. Are kit is going to be inline with the higher end kit for what they want for there 180hp kit.
 
I would like to see your "ammo" on the detonation - intercooling topic.

I have no intention of putting down your product, so you should not put down others products.

As far as equal value, we'll have to wait and see but I doubt it. But I've been wrong before, so prove me wrong. 8)
