I can not tell you how impressed I am with the new XTX nytro. Coming from a 08 rtx. Yamaha gets a A+ for the changes they have made to . improve these. I rode the new sled for about 150 miles last night. I can tell you that the steering and overall stability of the xtx is feels alot better. They must have been listening to our complaints about steering, bicycling, un-predictability, and other nagging issues with the earlier years because all of the things that I thought the 08 suffered from seem to be corrected on the xtx. I realize its not perfect but hey what sled is.
THANK YOU YAMAHA!

The only thing I have done to this sled is put dually's on it. ( won't own a sled with out them) I will say the steering is a bit heavy but I think just raising the front ride height a touch will cure that. Otherwise all settings are still on factory sets.

Hey DOC Just wondering why raising the front will help with the steering. Not saying it wont but i lowered my 09 xtx front end till the springs were loose while on a lift. I found the steering effort about half of what it was factory after doing so. But i dont like the way it looks lol. If i can raise it up and still get the lighter steering i would do so.

HYGEAR Triple rate springs will take care of that. I have them on my 2010 XTX and it corners like its on a rail at any speed I am truely impressed with it.
