Sidewinder 2019
Hello
I have had a AC M8000 before and wanted to give Yamaha Sidewinder a try.
I'm far from an expert so thats why i need some help.

I have a couple of questions as this one is on 250hp when i purchased it.

Is the clutch good on these? I have a a roller that`s stuck on the primary var.... Is that something i need to take care of like right now?
Also is there anything i need to check before the winter beside changing oil, sparkplugs,Oil filter and so on..

welcome!

there are guys that have no issues with the primary and there are guys that have nothing but issues. you do need to look after that roller issue before it gets worse.

the only thing that is going to be mentioned is to tack the screws in the chain case chain roller as they have been known to come out and ruin a day.

Thank you for the reply and good advice's!
When you say "tack the screws in the chain case chain roller as they have been known to come out"

Is it the screw for the chain tension you mean?
Sorry if its a stupid question!

I believe maim is talking about the screws that hold the roller on to the chain adjuster located inside the chain case. Also another good thing is install the Barn of parts drive axle saver, he has two options, a wedge and a new bearing with a much larger collar, both work flawlessly. The picture below is the chain adjuster.
