Hello, long time Yamaha Apex owner, new Sidewinder owner. I haven't been on this website since 2008, can't believe I'm still a member. I just bought a used 2018 LTX DX. The sled has 1700 miles on it. I'm trying to read through all the posts but I'm hoping to save a little time. I'm a Wisconsin trail rider so I'm looking for adjustments and improvements in that area. Skis? Sounds like the Curve skis are a nice improvement, is that still the case? Many of the post are a few years old. I put a set of CA Pro Razors on that I have, but the sled was pretty hard to steer with those and felt very nose heavy. The sled is studded. The suspension is setup the way I bought it so I don't know what's been adjusted or not.

What are the high maintenance items I need to address or keep an eye on? The Tri-hub sounds like one that needs to be addressed.

Thanks for your input, and hope I don't ask to many stupid questions. I'm familiar with Apex's but this is a new setup for me.

I use Cat skis, they are cheaper and steer easier.

I have a 2015 Apex XTX and had a 2007 Apex RTX.
Just got a new 2021 Winder but have yet to put a mile on it yet!

Welcome back to this place.
