Lost the old 06 Apex on my current loop here in Timmins ON. Broke the jackshaft and blew up the chain case. Made a great deal for her on an 2018 Sidewinder LTX DX. Have 700 miles on her and will be going home in a couple of days. What do I need to watch for and or do to this new machine. Incredible sled by the way. I rode a 850 etec doo, 800 assault and an 9000 kitty cat. Nothing compares to my wonder.

Ride it and have fun. When you get home you will need to change the oil and filter along with the chain case oil. Adjust chain and track tension. Then read all the great stuff here on TY. The only real upgrade you will need are ski's. The tuners are not very good.

Yet, we all seem to know better. The driveability alone of an sw is an amazing feat of engineering.

The latest reports are the Snowtrackers are working great on stock skis. I may know this weekend for comparison. Bud just put them on his.

I'm very happy with my Curves & Slim Jims. But the Snowtrackers are a quarter of the price & they last a LONG time. If they work, it would be a nice $ saving option.

They work. I have them. [2018 version aggressive sno trackers.]
Still push in soft stuff but not as much as the 850 Renegade I rode the same day on the same trails.
