I am currently building my 2007 attack. I am replacing the 136” mono with a 151” 2017 (700 mile) venture suspension ( pivoting rear rails). I am building a different sled as Yamaha has never done something in between on an Apex. It’s either 144 or 162”. I am putting 8t wahl drivers into it also, so I am replacing the 9t OEM drivers. I drilled/ removed the front mounting brackets (136” mono brackets ( they will work with the 151” suspension, just have to be moved/ re riveted). I have the factory 9t drivers still in the sled as I want to get it mounted first with the 9t as I can always go back to 9t drivers if I don’t like the 8t.

It appears to me like the front mount hole needs to be lower, and moved backwards a little bit. Thoughts? Currently the 151 inch suspension is temporarily in the OEM 136 mono shock holes.

Here is how it’s looking in the front factory 136” mounting holes. Doesn’t seem to be off to much

based on what happened to viper_dave when he had the 144" venture skid in his apex xtx, i would reccomend looking for some 11-15 apex xtx torsion springs or nitro xtx springs as those springs are really really stiff.
i can get you the front mount point for an 11 apex xtx if that helps as in the middle of service on mine atm.

Oh I agree I am going to have to play with the suspension after it’s mounted. If you could get me the measurements that would help. I am just trying something that is different from what everyone else is doing.
