Hi everyone, I'm a big time yamaha fan, i've been riding my 05 vector for 3 years now and I think it's time for an upgrade.
I am very interested in a Phazer mtn with a turbo. Just have a couple of questions for those out there that ride this set up.
Who should I get the turbo from? How much am I looking to spend? I like in wisconsin and would probably need a professional installation. Where should I go for this? And Finnally is it reliable. I'm going to be using it for trails and of trail riding, I want something I can Rely on.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks

- 2010 FXNytro MTX 162 SE with a 270 hp MCX Turbo and assorted goodies!
I own a couple phazers ( a 121" and a 144" model) and a 2008 FXNytro MTX (153").
I have ridden a phazer mtn turbo, and it is a very cool sled. I rode it in Revelstoke, BC. In my opinion, I would buy a FXNytro MTX and hold off on the turbo until you have ridden it a bit. Especially being from WI. I might almost suggest seeing what the FXNytro XTX 144" XNytro is all about. That cross over might be your ticket to happiness.

I was thinking about that as well. Either the Nytro MTX or the XTX. However I really like how light the phazer is. the Nytro still seems a little heavier then where I wanna be.
Also, i've heard, that i can probably pick up a turbo for the phaxer for about $3000 add that to the price of a left over phazer mtx about $4500-$5000 and I'd be saving myself alot of money.
Thanks for the inputs though.

I thought the same thing, What you have to consider is that a turbo will run you $3000.00 maybe more, But it dont end there, When I was looking to turbo mine, The cost was up around $6500-$7,000.For everything. Money was better spent on The Nytro mtx
