New sleds

Boy I really like my mono skid. What's up with the proaction return, I know it was thought to be better in the rough before, but am very happy with the mono. I weigh 220 and have to try real hard to bottom it.

Most people want the RTX for hitting jumps and stuff like that
the mono simply goes over most bumps and stuff while the CK launches of them
Same skid as what cory davison uses in his RTX

Why in the helll would they go back to the old skid???

not the same skid at all. Proaction was the old skid. Proactive is the new skid from last year with the torsion springs. Kind of catchy with words...lol It also works great!

has there been any changes in the 121" mono skid? would like to see if the issues that many have complained about have been addressed.

Don't Nytro riders complain that the ProActive bottoms too easily? I don't think the Mono or ProActive is the right skid for the RTX. It needs something really heavy duty to compete with the X series of Doos.

Don't get me wrong, I love having the Mono in my RTX. Then again, I am not a rough trail rider most of the time. I bought the RTX for the awesome front suspension which, so far, seems able to handle anything I throw at it!

I think that Yamaha has learned a buch of stuff from x-c racing this year :yam: Thats why they changed the skid on the RTX ;)!

yamaha is still missing it.......the site says the phazer fx weighs 467, thats exactly what a REV 800 HO with X package weighs, the REV has 57 more HP at the same weight, why wouldn't you want an 800 at the same weight as a 500?

the phazer would be awesome if it weighed 400......but it doesn't.

I thought I was buying an 07 but I guess not.......

until yamaha figures out how to make a light, powerful sled they will convert no one.....

Seems to me a lot of people think horsepower, and that's it. Sure, ripping down a rail bed, or across a lake at 105-115 sure is fun, for a little while.

I am seriously going to look at the Phaser Mountain Lite. What a perfect boondocking sled for the U.P. True, I would like a little more power, but, what a package for the price! Later, Sxrlar.

All of a sudden the Ski-Doo REV platform seemed old fashioned and outdated. :ORC This sled should both be an affortable and a fun-to-ride big bump sled like nothing else. Now the REV 600 is a heavy sled.
I want a Phazer FX to ride the tight, twisted and bumpy trails. Power, enough. If not TURBO. If it had 150 we would not be happy, still wanting to turbocharge the thing. :yam: :4STroke:

Enough said. There is going to be a different sound on the hill next year. I bet we see alot of these little guys. I need to get one, can`t wait for the demo rides this year.
