One big recommendation I'd have from first hand experience of owning a 2014 Ltx SE for 3 seasons now is to pull those rear shocks out and send them to cannondale to be revalved and setup to your weight. May not seem like it but stock shocks in the Ltx SE can be a big hinderance when it comes to performance. The biggest advantage of properly setup shocks is obviously the ride quality but the way those shocks came from factory, even me weighing 250 or so with gear had a hard time getting the suspension to move. Having efficient top speed comes from an easy rolling track and very flat approach angle on the front of the skid as well as keeping the track planted on the ground good over small choppy stuff so you always have traction. Proper shock setup will give you all of that which will result in better and more consistent top speed as well as a phenomenal ride. If you want to buy performance stuff like a clutch kit or exhaust or whatever else the sled will respond very well to those things but if you have a suspension that's not working properly I can tell you 100% without a doubt that it's holding your sled back. best thing hands down that I did to my viper was send my shocks out, turned it from a bucking bronco into an all around awesome sled no matter what the conditions were.
