2016 Viper MTX 141
2018 M8000
Been lurking around here for awhile now and decided to come on in with a new Viper on the way.Its a 2016 MTX 141.Im not sure if its a late build yet but was wondering if it matters much to a guy who will never Turbo the sled?At some point after some time in the seat I may look for a little more power but It'll never be turboed.

You should be just fine....no worries at all we have about 72 2016 vipers out there and none of them have came back ...
True and if it becomes a issue long term I would bet Yamaha will back them even out of warrantee. Just enjoy your new sled!

I have 2 seasons on my 2015 XTX 141 LE that I converted over the summer to a MTX 153. I am looking forward to seeing how this thing handles in the woods now with a bit more track and lug. I will let you know as soon as we have snow.

Yeah,I'd like to know what you think of the 153,coming from the 141.How did you find the 141 off trail though?I have 2 seasons on my 2015 XTX 141 LE that I converted over the summer to a MTX 153. Well I have 2 XTX 141's and I can say that they are remarkable in the deep stuff I have put them in. If I do get it stuck which only happens in 5' to 6' deep fresh, I pack the track in the front pin it and rock and out she comes. none of my other sleds would ever do that.
This is in over 3' of fresh that fell over night in a blizzard last year and it did not matter how fast or slow it just kept pushing snow over the hood.

I just purchased a 2016 srviper ltx. I was wondering what will give me the most power and speed without buying a turbo.

Seriously though, you can invest in a header, air box mod, can, clutching and flash an get the same results as the trail turbo, but the cost isn't really all that different. with the NA approach, you max out. With the turbo, you can keep spending money and have even more boost!

Ccmviper, congrats on the new sled. If I had my choice off all of them, the MTX 141 would be in my garage. It wasn't available in 2015, so I have spent considerable time and money to covert my LTX to a shorty version of the MTX 141. Enjoy.
This works but sorta like nitrous only 1 shot then done!
