Anyone use this setup yet? Just ordered mine yesterday and I'm hoping to get it and install it by next weekend. How did it compare to the stock setup? Hoping its a worth wild mod. How hard is it to remove the seat on the newer Apex? Removed my seat from my other Apex when I traded seats with someone with a 07 RTX and the removal was pretty easy. Hoping this will be money well spent cause my knees are the only thing that really hurts after a 200 mile ride.

From what I rember it is pretty easy. It bolts down in the trunk and you do not have to remove the tail light at all.

While you are in there it would be a good time to check the ex up adjustment if you have not done it yet this season.

Installed mine last night. Going for a ride today.
I had Mark do mine. Sent him my seat pan. By the way if you send seat pan don't send UPS. Send Fedex. Much cheaper. It cost me 60.00 to send my seat pan UPS and WRP sent the finished seat back Fedex for 39. UPS is out of control. I didn't have options when I sent mine out.
The seat is really nice. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. Can't wait to go today.

Just installed mine today. It took me just over an hour to strip off the cover and foam and re-install the new foam and cover. With an air staple gun it's a breeze. I just love the look and the riding position feels good.

I love mine on my 2012 xtx, have 500 plus miles on it and it is by far the best mod I have ever done to any of my snowmobiles. You will be so happy you did it. On a side note I had a local person put the new foam and cover on the pan and it only cost me 80 bucks so I wouldn't be shipping anything to wrp when you can get it done cheaper locally.

I put about 170 miles on mine this weekend and I gotta say WRP nailed it. I had my seat modded last year by a local upholstery shop and they made it better but I would sink further into it as the day wore on. The WRP seat stays consistent all day long. I'm 6'5" and this seat keeps my hips above my knees. The only thing I would change on it for me is to make the top slippery. I like to slide side to side during cornering. The top of the new seat is very sticky. I'll get used to that. All in all I'm very happy.

I really like the seating position of the wrp seat. It can be ridden more rider forward or traditionally , either way its comfy. With a 3" pivot riser it puts the rider in more of an attack position. Just love it, great addition.

Well got mine done by my local upholestry and they did it for 65 so I guess I didn't do bad. Have about 350 seat time and its the best mod I've ever done. If I ever trade or whatever and its a Apex I'm making swapping seats part of the deal. It's that good.

Can anyone tell me if these seats will fit a Vector? I see the Vec and Apex have different part numbers, might be due to the different exhaust outlets or tail light.

I just ordered a WRP seat for my 2011 Apex on their Ebay site. Right now, they are on sale for 30% off...only 5 left, according to the Ebay site.

Same spot I bought mine Grimm. The added height is great, but a firmer foam would of been nice. Actually seems softer than a stock 2012 to me

guess ill have to wait till the 06-10 apex wrp seats go on sale. grimm how much was the shipping?

Shipping was $53.45 US...total price was $300 Cdn, but I'll likely have to pay HST and a brokerage fee when it comes to my door.

Really? I was hoping it to be firmer...especially after reading reviews on other WRP customers.
