New Yamaha ski patent?

I was doing some browsing on the US Patent website and came across a patent filed June 2007 by Yamaha regarding a ski they may be developing. It kind of looks like the bottom of the Powder Pros.

Looks older than 2007 - was filed in 04. Lots of confusing language - I can't get the images to come up.

I do remember reading in a magazine not long ago that Yamaha had difficulty in securing a patent, due to the mass of different designs on the market.
