I believe that next weekend (12&13th) is the Demo weekend up in Old Forge. http://www.adirondack.net/winter/snofest.cfm. Anyone interested in riding from my house up to Old Forge on Saturday for the Demo Days. We call leave about 9:30. Should be up there about noon. That will give us a chance to see and test drive a couple new sleds, have lunch, and be back early evening, and still put on 150 miles or so. Of course this will depend on the weather. Questionalble now with all the rain coming in today and tonight. Who wants to go if the weather and the trails hold out. Right now the trails are the best they have been all year.

BBA, monster jam sat at the dome or i would go with this fresh snow that should be a good ride, isn't funny how fast the season went ..best riding in years have fun...later cp

Count me in. Havent been on the sled since the Marathon ride. So looking to get a few more milesw before calling it a season. Will be up to ride Sat and Sun, as long as you give the green light for weather and conditions. Keep us posted!

May have to call off Saturdays ride. It looks like we will get 2+ inches of rain today through tomorrow morning. There is not much cold air behind this storm like there was after the 2" of rain we got last Saturday. This will add up to over 4" of rain in 5 days. That may be to much for the trails to handle. Great ride yesterday though, 185 miles of mostly smooth trails. Could be the last ride of the season, you never know.

BBW,

We are trying to get up your way (we stay outside of Redfield) tmrw night and planning on riding sat/sat night. Did you guys get a ton of rain today? Do you think the trails are shot?

I say move the ride to Marathon. Be at Lovell field with your PWC, the river is HIGH!!

Seriously, hope you guys can get the ride in. Trails down my way are all closed, don't think we'll be getting winter back here :o|

MCApex44, Sorry I didn't get back to you quicker, but did not check this post yesterday. Trails still have lots of snow around my houes, they stopped groooming though, on Wed. night when the rain started moving in. Usually alot more water holes over by Redfield. Got back from Old Forge around noon. I was disapointed that Cat and Polaris were not giving demo rides, just Yamaha, and Ski-Doo. Took a Ski-Doo for a demo, Ok, but jumps around in the front end too much for me. Trails in Old Forge are in good condition. We could have rode there from my house. I just rode about 60 miles around my area, hardly no water holes. Trails were a 7 out of 10 around my house. Finally had the new Apex up over 100. Hope to get a few more days of riding in.
