Well after a long ride and a 2 mile lake run on the way home the muffler was considerably louder. I took the DB killers out to have a look see and everything looks normal so I'm assuming some of the packing has shifted. I went back with the stock muffler, shows you that Yamaha stock is sometimes superior accept for the weight penalty.

No way to repack mine, it's a sealed unit. I look for something over the summer to put on it but want something that will fill the area between the plastics.

Phazer exhaust is a tricky thing to find balance between loud and performance. If I have a fresh repack, and take out the DB reducer it is still RETARDED loud!
