NO OIL IN CRANKCASE?????

I WENT TO CHANGE MY OIL AND FILTER TODAY(BREAK-IN) AND FOUND NO OIL IN THE CRANKCASE??? IS THIS NORMAL FOR THE FOR THE VECTOR/RAGE????

WHEN I CHANGED THE OIL IN MY RX-1 IT HAD PLENTY OF OIL IN THE CRANKCASE.

Oil in the crankcase is NOT normal. Do you have oil in the oil tank? When you took off your filter was there any oil in the filter? Are you sure you took the drain plug out of the crankcase and not some other bolt? On my RS Venture there is a triangle that is stamped into the case and the drain bolt is located next to the triangle. Do you have a owners manual? Something doesn't seem right.

Yes plenty of oil in the oil tank. Also there was oil in the filter when I replaced it.

Can't miss the oil plug, as it has the copper washer.

Its all back together now and I'm heading out for Quebec this afternoon.
