Undecided,
Why don't you just sell your sled and buy something else! Seems like every thread I view that deals with suspension I find your posts whining about the ride. My own Vector rides pretty good but way too soft. It is amazing that you want your sled to ride softer.
Go buy a two up sled or something more geared for cruising. I really thing you'd like a Polaris FST. I'd love to go view your posts on a Polaris forum complaining that your brand new FST with 0 miles just cracked the case after you first started it bacause of the starter issue.

Blue Giant - It makes a big difference in ride quality when you set to full transfer - Softer Ride. It causes the suspension to couple later. When coupled you are using both rear suspension shocks and springs (Stiffer Ride). Glad to here you are finally getting it to ride better for your liking.

Dude - if you don't like what I say, don't read it OK? With the help of others on this board, the sled is coming around. Did you read my last post??? I said it was better, but I guess you only read what you want to.
Have a nice day!

Hey Oak! I was afraid to adjust for full transfer because of the fear of excessive ski lift but so far it's been great!
It has created a second problem in that my wife got a hold of it yesterday and I haven't gotten a chance to ride it since!
Thanks again for your help!

I noticed the same thing on my venture last year, when I had the torsion springs set hard it road far too stiff, but when I dropped the torsion tension the suspension would droop like you described. I found out that this skid is coupled front to back AND back to front. what I ended up doing was lowering the front skid spring to the lowest setting and putting the torsion spring full stiff. The ride turned out to be very compliant, stabillaty increased, and ski pressure increased reducing understeer. the front skid spring has alot of influence on this sled, I actually adjust it instead of the rear spring when conditions or load weight changes. totally differant from uncoupled or coupled only from front to rear as are most other sleds. Try it it works.

The Mechanic at my dealer said the same thing. The front skid spring and shock have a bigger influence on this sled than people realize.

BINGO!
Now, should I get a Rage or a Vector GT?
Decisions, decisions!

Back from the dead, I was busy riding when I was engaged in this thread and forgot to some back to it.
We put on 300 miles on the set up 'undecided' reccomended it did work great, I got the sled to handle so well that with me riding it I was able to shake a MachZ in the woods TWICE in 10 miles. He simply could not keep up. Part of it is rider (I'm fairly aggressive and trust in my equipment) and the other part is the sled actually did what we wanted it to.
I forgot about the no rebound aspect of the sled when we pull it out of storage I will look at it again. I think it seemed to straighten out once we got it out on the trails but it must not have been a big issue because I never noticed it! Thanks for the help and I will update again once its out of storage.

Holy Cannoli!
I forgot all about this thread. My wife has taken to this sled like a bum on a bologne sandwich. She refuses to let me go near it, ride it, or adjust it in any way. I did get a chance to sneak it out for a short rip and it is definitely much better, actually it could stand to be a little stiffer for me but I'm 50 lbs heavier than Mrs. B.G.
I'm thinking about an Apex for myself this year, I really like the rider forward feel of this sled. I'm going to have to do some creative accounting to fit one into the budget.
Thanks again for all the responses folks.
