That's good. I bet your problem goes away after the chaincase update.

Seriously? Ahh man. That's disappointing. Won't engage at all when cold eh? Mine is still being finicky but no chaincase update yet.

Yup I was the first to blow up an rx-1 in 2003 with 7500 miles and a Pro R 800 Switchback last year with under 800 miles and now a 2014 Viper with 1000 miles on it.

No thread did not want to make an issue of it but started to mention it after I heard of another going down.
popped the head gasket and blew a whole between 2 cylinders. They say it was my fault but NOT!!! It dropped a cylinder around 150 miles and rode it 80 miles back to TY ride in Hancock. Next morning it was fine. Ran it several hundred more miles and did it again just a few miles this time. I installed boost gauge and AFR gauge to see what numbers were. Ran up to 950 ish miles did it again. Stopped for dinner hour later it ran fine drove it home on all 3. The next morning it started normal went 12 miles and dropped a cylinder then shut off. Waited on trail for almost an hour (alone) it started ran on 2 only back to trailer then died and never started again.
They say that the boost gauge vaccuum line touched the turbo shroud and burnt a pin hole in the line that confused the gems controller but the hole time the AFR never read over 11.5 to 12.0 and boost gauge was showing 6#'s even when it dropped a cylinder. Plus the symptoms occurred 2 times prior to the gauges being installed.
Oh well all I can do is put it back together better - new block - adding carillo rods, Wiseco pistons and upgrade of wastegate, fuel pump and taking it to 230 hp at 10+ #'s of boost.

Yea bummer but at least it got me back to the trailer. It was Monday morning 3 weeks ago -12 F out and no cell phone reception.
There was nobody out riding, I was alone.
She was like a good old horse. She got me back pulled to trailer and just stopped. No bang, no pop no codes, no overheating, just no go.
