Nothing but problems with my sled this year! I have a 2015 viper rtxdx
First problem - electric start wont work, but battery reads as being full on the charger.
Second problem- i put the sled into reverse and when i went to put it back into forward it would just grind. It has since gone into forward but now i cant get it to go into reverse.

Start with figuring out battery issue. These sleds must have a real good battery.

Take a look at the shift motor. Not 100 sure but if the pcm thinks it’s in reverse it may not allow it to crank. Look at the end of the worm gear. If it looks like there’s a cap missing replace the shift motor.

+1 on cleaning all battery terminals & making sure the battery is at 100%.
