I wanted to have a little creative fun with the exhaust. So some carbon fiber and stainless steel motorcycle mufflers were cut up and reassembled. The stainless may get painted black as it is a bit :bling for my tastes. Actually, the exhaust is a little bit :bling , but a neat project nonetheless.

Update... the system was a tad loud for everyday trail riding. So, some Supertrapp exhaust discs were added under a a pair of tips to quiet it down. It only requires about 5 minutes of time to pull the last discs and open the system back up for full volume.

Excellent work! I use to frabricate alot when I worked for engineering at GM. It :4STroke: was alot of fun and satisfaction creating something from scratch. Please continue to share info on prodject. :exc:

I see the red 2000 Polaris in the pic. I had the 600cc version of that sled. What a nice sled. Cornered like she was on rails and the Xtra-12 suspension was my 2nd favorite next to the M-10.

Sorry to interrupt....back to the topic at hand..

That's my brother in law's... it is a good sled. He was sick of the X-tra 10, so we installed a 136 Metric M-10, dropped a tooth on the top gear, threw on an SLP can... An excellent trail/crossover and ditch banger sled! That very sled makes me realize how nice a machine the new Phazer is. Light, good suspension, about 80 hp... it will impress waaaay beyond the 500cc badge on the side.
