Newbie
I'm a Newbie to the site and from what I see so far its Great to be here! I have a Apex Gt 07 and I was changing the oil and running it on the stand to check the oil level. While running I notice the primary clutch weights were really rattling and when I engage the clutch you hear the sheaves slapping in and out. Ever since got sled I always I thought it was loud but seem to be worst now. I inspected the clutch and don't see anything wrong or worn.Is this normal and I was thinking of installing a aftermarket kit for trails any suggestions.

Some noise is normal...just bring up your IDLE to 1500 rpm's +/- and noise usualy disapates, make sure to keep it clean by blowing compressed air to get all debris out and DO NOT use lubricants keep it CLEAN 'n DRY, I had 12.000kms on my '05 RX1 and still within spec...there's also a little bit of noise coming from the gear reduction right behind your clutch, again NORMAL.

BlueStroke - like apltx08 says, it's normal to have some noise from the clutches at idle and also when the sheaves engages and disengages.
