At Dynotech Research several years ago they quit dynoing at 1026 horsepower, not that they were unable to make more, they just stopped there. I'd guess they are up to 1100-1200 now. It's a 1400cc (85 cubic inch) billet/custom 4 cylinder motor, impressive to say the least!

That was in 1320' (1/4 mile), this was in 202 mph was done in 1000' run. I think they said the recorded speed at 1100' in this run was 211, but nothing official on that!

Same team posted 212MPH at 1066ft using the same equipment that recorded the 202 speed at 1000. It just wasn't meaningful except as bragging rights because it gained 10MPH in 60' which is something when you are already over 200mph.

They didn't publish but I suspect it isn't proportionally as fast. You can see the sleds are forced to roll out slowly and then pile on the throttle as they go down the track. The continued acceleration at the end shows just how hard it is to balance traction/acceleration.

The record for the PRO-55 1000' was set there as well. 180.65 MPH with a turbo apex motor, also built by hypersports.

The 1066 numbers are different in the hypersports post but these numbers make way more sense. Very impressive.
