nytro bog and misfire when warm

yup- Starter Solenoid... Like I said you guys are going to think I am nutts. My 08 went thru 2 of those things in 9000 miles.

I fooled around with my coils and ended up that one of the ones that I replaced were also bad so changed that and seems to be working fine now, I do need to change the starter solenoid though, it is starting to get bad

Well I rotated a coil through this evening, when I put it in the middle cylinder sled ran a lot better.

But now I have another problem...when I was almost home this evening I was looking at how difficult it would be to swap the coil for the 3rd cylinder( mag side) and decided it wasn't going to be easy trailside. I then looked at the harness where it runs behind bulkhead on left side and moved it up away from the frame, saying I'd zip tie it up when I got home. Go to start sled, code 15 and 84. TPS and TORS. sled would start but cut out. Great! Fiddled with harness got codes to disappear, went on home, only about 2 minutes away. Get back to the shed and fool with harness get codes to show again. What am I in for?

When you pulled on the harness did you tighten the throttle cable by accident? If so you might have pulled it tight enough to activate TORS. Check your throttle cable routing.

it wasn't the cable being pulled tight, when I got back to the shed I could get the codes to appear by just touching the harness. I am going to dig into it and have a look. Might just be easier to replace the harness! I hate electrical issues!!!

Turns out I had harness rub through! The harness was worn on the nub behind the primary clutch, opened up the harness had 1 yellow wire chaffed, repaired it and taped the harness back up and secured it out of the way. Ran the sled, seems fine, hopefully that's it!
