Fed up with the mickey mouse oil return pump on a powderlites set up, what does everyone suggest and wheres best place to get it? Sled is presently apart completely so I am open to all suggestions thanks.

Halifax area, its a rear mount and uses a feul pump as a scavenge pump, on my third pump and there has to be a better way than this.

I guess the only suggestion is an MCX return pump? or has anybody tried a better electric return pump? I have installed smaller restrictor in oil line and made sure lines are not kinked etc as said in many other post's but this has been an issue from day one and while sled apart want to fix this problem once and for all. So where is the best place to get my hands on MCX pump, thanks.

The FPP kits on doo use an oil sump / return pump. I had zero issues with it in 3000 km last winter its not a fuel pump and is very basic has no real moving parts to fail its an oscilating pump and just pulses a small metal piston up and down with a magnet.
I think this is it here http://www.go2marine.com/product.do?no=95746F

Turbo oil return pump option.

I used a belt driven Mechanical pump from Johnson High Tech Performance.

It required building a trick little bracket and a drive mandrel off the end of the crankshaft similar to a supercharger drive but it works flawlessly.

Here is a link to their site. Click the "rear end pumps" tab.

I used a 1 stage .400" (wide) gear pump because I bought it from a used Sprint Cup race car parts website for $80.00. I would assume a .250" gear pump would be sufficient for returning the relatively small amount of oil that we are pumping. I talked to Mr. Johnson about this and he said that he has folks using his rear end pumps for turbo oil return regularly.

Install a oil sump at the bottom of the turbo and a MCX Trochoid pump at the magneto/crankshaft. Make sure you use at least a 12mm oil return hose.
Do you have a restrictor on the oil feed line in front of the turbo?
