anyone ever tried this? After owning 2 Nytro’s I’m just tired of the crappy viper tank and all the oil dumping problems it has. So far looks like it may work
Would it fit in place of the stock tank? In other words if stock tank is removed from chaincase is there enough room to fit it there? Seems like a total redesign of exhaust and hoses then unknown issues.

Putting it back there wouldn’t eliminate any issues. As soon as a viper is on its side it loses prime. My Nytro never has. I think it’s due to such a long tube/hose from the factory from the tank to bottom of engine pickup.
I can’t see any issues arising from this.....it’s the exact same setup/location of tank from a Nytro. The engine in this viper is actually even from my 08 Nytro lol. So if anything it’s more “stock” for this engine.
Another bonus is being able to wire in the low oil sensor to a light.

If you get it all plumbed and it works well I may do this too just for ease of access to chaincase and I have a Phazer tank sitting here. Nice Job so far. You check for sidepanel clearance?
That also makes sense about the tube. Is alot of oil in that tube and case even after draining it out drain plugs.

Lots of panel clearance. It’s almost done. Would be even better if you had a chain case cover from one of the 2 strokes.
I bet one would fit. No baffle ribs then. Yes.Lots of panel clearance. It’s almost done. Would be even better if you had a chain case cover from one of the 2 strokes.
