I have been talking with my dealer, and he was curious as to how widespread this front end issue is. He has been talking to our Yamaha rep. because a few of the Nytros he's sold have came back this way.
If your front end is tweaked, please make a brief post so I can let him know how many people here are having this issue, and what you have done with it, cost to repair, etc.
I don't want to turn this into a big discussion, just looking for statictics please!! There are plenty of other threads here to discuss the problems, but I want to start this one just to count the sleds!!!

Bent front, worn ball joints. Not fixed yet. Dealer offered to warranty, but I'm waiting for an upgrade.

The lower ball joints on My wifes Nytro are so worn out I'm surprised they didn't fall apart. The bushings on the A arms are also worn out and the upper ball joints are showing wear. This is on a sled that My wife rides very easy and it only has 1200 miles! The right spindle is more upright than the left but I can't see anything bent. Yamaha engineers must have had their heads up their azz when they gave their final approval on the front end parts for the Nytro! I have no idea WTF they were thinking?? When My easy riding wife can completely wear out the front end of this sled in 1200 miles there has to be something wrong with the people who designed it.

Bent subframe, and tweaked a-arms. The dealer said that this will not be covered by Yami. He stated that he has done 6 so far this year, and yami did not cover one of them.

Mine's bent. Will be fixing it in the summer with bracing like the irondog sleds. Fixed too many bent race cars to worry about this little self inflicted tweak. (I don't believe I hit hard enough to bend a trailing arm sled but i did perform a wonderfull get off)

bent frontend

Mine bent severly at 300 miles by taking a hard whoop a little twisted, nothing I haven't done with my F7 dozens of times. Not fixed yet. Waiting for Yami or an upgrade kit.

Severly bent in less then 200 miles of TRAIL riding. 500 Miles on the sled waitied all winter for a subframe. A arms are still tweaked. Balljoints are toast.

Br In laws less then 1000 miles bend but he sold it to somoene that was cluelss so its gone. No warranty offered.

Fathers Bent less then 400 miles, returned to dealer delt in on an apex.

I dunno if they are members here so I will add 4 people on the trail this winter I showed who's frames were also bent.

replaced left spindle on the wifes sled (no real hard hits), slightly tweeaked her front end, no fix required at this time. her balljoints are trashed.

mine tweaked front end 3 times, repaired myself to center shocks in arms (with grapeapes help). replaced, right lower A arm. right spindle is slightly bent (not replaced yet) lower ball joints trashed.

spoke with the dealer at every damage event, they claimed i would be contacted by the local tech rep and the sleds and parts would be inspected, and the dealer would work with me for reimbursement, compensation.

nothing has happened to date.

none of the hits on either sled would have bent a trailing arm, been there done that.

hoping there is an upgrade, fix, in the process, would really be nice for an announcement of pending upgrades. ski

Right skii was 3" ahead of left skii in february. In April they were even again so I guess mine fixed itself.

my 08 nytro 800 miles all front ball joints and inner a arm bushs trash plus bent front end. Never hit anything.
wifes 07 phazer 700 miles every ball joint trash plus inner a arm bushes and also bent without hitting anything!

Just wondering what the build dates are on the bent sleds also RTX or Standard. Mine is an RTX and built in September with only ball joint and exhaust issues. Sub frame is still straight

Bent on left side slightly. Dealer has contacted Yamaha since they agree there is no sign of any impact. Yamaha requested some measurments, which they got, still waiting for answer. I was told not to expect anything until the summer.
