Dirtfarmer what LED kit did you use, snowmobile specific?

I used a motorcycle kit from superbrightleds.com. It's wired to a remote switch so I didn't have to install a switch on sled, all controlled from a key fob. I chose the single color leds too. I had to add some wire of my own to run from the running boards to the battery.

Thanks, looks like $39 for a blue remote controlled kit with 20" strips per side. Is this what you went with? I have a seen a few people with them the last few years, pretty cool looking IMO.

That's the one! I had to add some wire like I said and I used heat shrink connectors where I added wire to the led wire. I have to find a good spot to secure the remote box up near the battery still. I also am going to e add some silicone on the edges of the led strips to help protect them better under the running boards. There is also a small wire run to get back thethe plastic and up to the engine compartment that I'm going to silicone also so it doesn't get snagged and pulled. I'll post some pics when I get that done.

Seeing how this is the photo post, latest from the rebuild, Bergstrom 8" triple points, 1/2" wear bars, shims and ski savers arrive this week to wrap it up... Unlikely I will get them mounted until I return from Casablanca on October 15th.... hoping for early snow! Colorado I hear could get 2' in the next few days! NICE!
