Anyone recognize this grey/silver spring? It was tested at dalton to be 90/140 kg(black one is a dalton 70/142kg). I found with the shorter spring I lose mid/top end. Looking for a longer spring in the 60/140kg range. received_4011195852239749.jpeg

How do those two springs differ RPM wise, both engagement and full shift?

With the grey spring comes in around 4300/4400...top rpm is around 9000...strong pull thruout.
Dalton comes in around 4000/4100..top rpm is close to 9000...but seems like a slug in the midrange and top end mph is down a couple. I talked to a few ppl that also said they like the pull of the long springs...like to get a lower start rate ...just don't know who makes ling springs (clutch set up came in the sled when I bought it).

So it’s clear through Dalton’s testing that the grey/silver spring has considerably more rate than the black spring. In order to use a spring with that same rate and a low engagement you’ll have to lighten those weights up quite a bit, the compressed # will be quite a bit lower than either of those two springs. This also explains why you find the sled a little lazy in the mid range with that black spring......the lower rate makes the weights act more aggressive yet have a comparable full shift RPM because they end up very close in comparison when fully compressed in the clutch.
