Nytro problem !

So i have a 2013 Nytro i bought new as a left over .It has 300 miles on it and last weekend when i got home from riding it didnt want to start .It sat in the trailer over night and temp got down to 0-5 degress . When i got home i turned the key on and didnt hear the fuel pump run ,cranked it over and thats all it did was crank . Turned the key on and off 2 more times before i heard the pump kick in .Then as the sled is running doing its warm up i hit the dimmer switch and i have no high beams . This is after the red warm up light was already off . Drove it around my yard then the high beams worked ! Not sure what is going on but not impressed for my first Yamaha !!!

yup bought from a dealer and is still under warranty .

Easy fix. Take it back. I would.

Sounds like load control relay and fuel pump relay although my headlights wouldn't come on at all when the load control relay was failing and eventually the dash would stay semi lit when you turned the key off. Have the relays been updated to the new ssr red ones?

Get the solid state "RED" relay. It is not a standard electro-mechanical (magnetic relay). It has a semiconductor non-mechanical switch and thus has no contacts to potentially freeze up. Due to this stock electro-mechanical (magnetic relay) failing, Yammy issued a
New SSR part #8GN-81950-00-00

Make sure you replace the correct relay as the positions are different between the 4 relays . I have the same exact sled and mine is the farthest in front. I replaced 3 of the 4 with the RED solid state one, So the fuel, Fan & Load relays. The lights relay is different and I have HID kit with it's own relay.

What Sledboy said, I'm pretty sure the red relays are a fairly new update and since your sled is under warranty I'm sure the dealer would swap them in for ya.

All I know is my 2013 did NOT come with solid state relays

SSR relays came out last winter so no 2013 will not have them unless the dealer allready upgraded them.

Relay. Same thing happened to my new 13 XTX when it was cold a couple of weeks ago. I replaced all 3 up front with the new updated red ones. Mine was under warranty .

Quick question? I have a 2013 with 300 miles on it. I have not any issues but should I buy the new relays or will dealer give them to me. How many are there? and are they all the same part number? I dont like to wait for a problem.
