Today I went for a ride and about an hour into it I shut the sled off for about 10 minutes when I went to start the sled I turned the key and nothing happened. The gauge didnt light up or the fuel pump didnt cycle. After four or five tries of turning the sled on and off it finaly turned on. Rode for atleast six hours the sled was fine and had no problems. Then as I was riding the gauges started to flash and I lost power to the sled. I checked all fuses and relays, so I tried to turn the sled on and off a bunch of times with no luck. So I had to tow it home. When I finally got home after two hours with the sled, I turned the key and the gauges light up and the fuel pump cycled. So I started the sled to see if there was an error code but nothing. Any help would be appreciated so this incident doesnt happen again in the middle of nowhere...lol. Thanks

Nytro problem
Do you have a tether switch installed?
I had a similiar issue and found the wiring to the switch was loose and causing my sled to run/not run the same as yours. Took the switch out, cleaned & reinstalled while checking all of the connections and no issues since.

Check the plug that powers the key ingnition.... I took the top off to work on the sled and when I plugged it back in there was nothing, so I wiggled the connector and the gauge and pump came on.

Same thing on mine, I took the ignition switch apart and it was fine inside it. Then looked at the connector and noticed it was corroded. Cleaned it and put dielectric grease on it and it was fine. Have since got it replaced under YES and have put dielectric grease on EVERY connector.
battery connection is good...... i will check the ignition switch..... do u guys think it could be the starter relay ( i think thats what it is called) or would there be a code if that happened...

If it was the start relay (solenoid) it would power the guages when you turned the key on. My relay is on the way out, and if the sled is cold I have to cross the solenoid to get the sled started. I took the mesh out of the side pod so I can do it without removing the pod. Once the sled is warmed up it's fine.
i followed the wire from the key switch to the connector.....disconnected it and found that it was caroded..... so i pluged it back in and started the sled and wiggled the connector...... yup it was the problem....the gauges started to flicker......gonna get some cleaner and dielectrical grease.....thanks guys for thr help

I found that same connector corroded as well. I removed them from the plastic connector with a paperclip and had to re-crimp them to be tight. This corrosion was from antifreeze spilling or leaking from the two radiators that had been replaced. Stupid place for that connector to be located. Glad you found the trouble.
