I have heard a couple of guys talk about moving the stabilizer connection point at the lower a-arm. Mine came from the factory at the rear most hole. Is there anything in the manual that describes which hole is more aggressive? What is people’s experience with the adjustment?

Thanks

No mention of the stabilizer bar positions in either the owners manual or the service manual.

I read here that a couple of guys here did it thus I tried it too. I guess it's likes putting in a stiffer swaybar on other models, it reduces the body roll and helps to keep the skis flatter in the corners, inside ski lift is reduced. ;)!

Very happy with this adjustment, I can attack the corners a lot better...try it, you'll like it.

X2 - what Grimm said...I made the switch and it reduced body roll.

although slight..it is a part of improving the whole package...

It is funny that the sway bar adjustment is mentioned in the tuning tips found in the Snowest article yet never addressed in the manuals.

Just to be sure...move it to the forward hole?

basically it seems to preload the bar vs waiting for the bar to catch later in body roll...obviously not the same as a thicker bar....but more proactive vs reactive...might increase the rate some as well

Take a pic of your lower front arm where the stabilizer link bolts to it...then I'll circle it for ya.

There is a front hole and a back hole located on your lower arm. For the stiffer position install into the front hole. The front hole is the one nearest the front of the sled. No need for pics as this is not difficult to explain or figure out. You need to do this to both sides. You are creating less hinge in the joint making it stiffer. Poor design really, but this is all we have to work with so far.
