What have you done to keep the oil in the tank during a roll over without a rov? Inquiring minds want to knowlund said:I had the same issue 2 years ago, JUNKED the ROV and problem solved. There are way better ways to keep the oil in the engine and tank then the ROV.

Two things, one an overflow res. that catches the oil and rerouts it back to tank if needed. Two rerouting a new breather hose that curls above the tank then down to the belly. No i have no oil that leaks.
I did the same with my overflow for the cooling system, no coolant leaks. I've had the sled roll many times, had it upside down for over 20min. with no fluid lost. That wasnt the case in the past, every time we rolled the sled over to get unstuck i would lose oil and coolant.
Then the ROV, was installed, in theory it was great. In the real world it was a major failure, it would work, then not work because it would jame up. Needed constant cleaning then to top it off it cause runability issues.
The biggest trick is how the hoses are routed.

Pulled the ROV
I pulled the rov but did not get to test tonight I will tomorrow and will post.
How much and what kind of extra hose did you get? Is it 5/8 and where did you get it? Could you go into more detail how it is routed as I could be looking into a new way to do deal with the oil loss issue!! Thanks

Fixed
It seems to have fixed the problem so I am wanting to take it out on a long ride now just to make sure but it now feels like its making full power and actually gained a little top end 6mph so I am pretty sure its fixed. Thanks for the input.

OFT
Rick at OFT is the one who brought up the idea it may be the ROV. I am currently speaking with them about their ROV and intend to purchase one soon.

I just had a sled do the same thing. Had the yamaha tether system installed and started missing and gauges flashing on and off at higher rpm, disconnected tether and back to normal. Where was the tether purchased, I may be able to help you out.
