1 bar is good. Keep an eye on the boost at all times. Be sure to check those intercooler hose clamps if you lose boost next time.
I blow my intercooler off all the time but it's because the hoses are too short, and the clamps aren't strong enough.
Is the wastegate actuator close to exhaust? Maybe you can let your sled warm up to operating temp before taking off. Just to make sure that it's unfrozen.
