o8 vector goes to apex chassis

The injected Apex gets lower mileage than the carb RX-1 and the FX Nytro will get lower mileage than the RS Vector carb model! It takes fuel to create HP! The carb Vector motor has great performance and does not change performance in different temps, altitudes, etc. Putting fuel injection on would increase the hp but it would increase the price and lower the fuel mileage.

05 cat gone 08 vector in

I am getting #s from my dealer on a 08 vector gt, My wifes sled a 05 sabercat 600 lx is in the shop again for a new ecu $1400 worth, last year I dumped a-c and traded my 05 f7 for a 07 Apex GT and now its her turn. I am kinda disapointed that the vector is not fuel injected but it being in the apex chassis is nice. We have been a-c riders for ever but the last two 05s that I had have worn me down with recalls, poor performance(f7) and back-ordered parts so its time to move on and from what I see Yamaha is the future of snowmobiling.

Both of those sleds have gearing changes that cause the lower fuel mileage, NOT the fuel injection. Putting fuel injection on the motor makes BETTER use of the same fuel and results in more efficient engines.
