OFT Racing: How to cure "hot under the collar"...

I've had a few questions about the wiring when using the bar riser mount.

Here is a short video that shows routing, and it also shows there is no binding or fitment problems...

Moto - i fell asleep trying to watch it with that music. Stay true to ur name and add MotoPsycho or something - sheeezzzz I realize it is xmas and all but wow. My co-workers are wondering WTH i am doing in here - oh wait - working :)

OK so enough - looking forward to getting mine installed - even with that 5% covercharge its worth it!!!!!

I was able to get the vent install this weekend without cutting any wires with the guage mounted on the post. Thanks Moto for the pictures of the install - helped greatly getting the wiring situated and adjusting the banjo slightly so the brake line moved with ease in turning the bars. All in all - good product quality so far - we will see how well it vents this next weekend out in MT... Cant wait!!!!

based on price, fit and design, and venting in the right place I would give it a 5/5.
I was sorta shocked just how much heat came out of it. I am also running 2coolVents - but the amount of heat coming out of the IP vent was impressive. I installed it with the guage mounted on the steering post and had my sled on it top a couple of times (i kept running out of ability). Having the gauge closer was nice too - made it much easier to keep an eye on the tac.
As an added bonus it kept my gloves warm when stopped too - which was nice.
Definetly one for a must add list.

Sweet! I'm happy you are pleased with the product.

I have to say, for the money, it is a helluva deal! I can't wait to see how one works on a pressurized induction sled!

ip vents

Is all the water from the melting snow going straight down into the engine compartment and creating blocks of ice or popping off skid plates???

Would be nice to see my gauges on a pow day.....

are these on the website yet and how much for a kit with stock gauge location?

I haven't witnessed any additional water depositing into the engine compartment, but with all of the huge OEM holes in the hood and side panels, I'm not sure how you could gauge it anyway.

There are a couple of VERY effective drill patterns to counter act the skid plate issues...

last, but not least - yes, there are kits available at http://oftracing.com

We have many of them on MCX sleds in Sweden... never had a complaint!

PS: put your location in, as per site rules ;)!
