The auxiliary fuel tank is a Doo accessory? How much does it hold? What secures it to the Nytro? How much cost and where did you move the taillight?

I put the OFT Relocator on today. It was an easy install. The hardest part was aligning the handlebars with the skis. loosening the jam nuts was awkward. Still not sure the are perfectly straight... Nice kit with easy to follow instructions.

My can was off my Rev, so it is a few years old now and holds 3.3 gallons. It came with different brackets for a variety of installs and after 5 years I could still find them. A small miracle! I used my stock taillight and ran the wires under the tunnel to mount to the back of the tunnel where the reflector is attached. Drill out that bracket and the stock taillight will mount right up, you will just need to drill a hole for your wires. 345 miles on the setup and no problems with ice or flying debris yet. I put a cheap seat cushion under the can to help take up some space and keep the polished tunnel from getting scratched up. I paid up and put the Yami turnout on to keep the can from melting. It works great, the plastic stays cold. I'm planning to put on a plate to keep ice build up down and stretch it out and cover the wires too. Hope it helps!

Ah yes, that should be pointed out - that he has an earlier version with the straps . The newest model just has a couple of mounts that it clicks and locks into.

The other neat thing about the system for the mountain sleds with long tunnels is I've read you can order more mounts as a CanAm part (skidoo doesn't sell just the mounts) but once you have more mounts you can custom make different attachments, chainsaw, shovel, hard case mount.. etc - which you could also do with the one set if you leave the fuel jug home on a shorter sled.

Can someone explain in more detail the advantages of a oft kit? I have a 13 xtx and I use to ride a rev xp. I do not feel like the steering is very hard on the nytro. I also have tuner skis with 2" and 4" carbides. Also a 2" riser. Did the factory change something on the 13's then previous years to make the steering easier?

Loving in the snow!!

I also have the 13 xtx and just installed the OFT only have a couple hundred miles on it and love the change.... I too didn't think the nytro was that hard to steer before but now that I did this it is so much more comfortable hard to explain but definatley less stress on the shoulders and much more room to ride aggressive and lean in the corners

I just ordered mine up today from OFT.....everything I've read is positive so i'm hoping for the same stellar results :)
