OFT Steering Block

Nice - thanks! Wow with the gas tank off there is tons of room! :)
You're welcome, w/o the tank removed I couldn't see any way to get the bolts out, although someone on here said they used a pry bar! Awesome design on these machines ...... I think they were put together backwards or something!! :-o

Installed mine today. It took me longer than expected but once I loosened the gas tank and just slide it back a quarter inch it all went well. The hardest part was keeping the oilite bushings in place while I put it all together. It removed all the forward/back play in the steering.

Next I have Ulmer front end bushings on order but I think I will have the dealer install them when I take it in for its oil change/checkover.

Its easy to take the front end out. Cannondale has a great step by step posted in the "how to's" on taking the front end off.

That would give you easy access to the oil filter along with the a arms, and you could also do upbushman's kit for the steering.

I'm the pry bar guy! I was able to do mine without taking out the tank. If I remember correctly, it was mostly the wiring bundle that restricted the bolts from coming out but it was still a biatch.

I had to use the pry bar to move the wiring out of the way too and push in the bolts.

Got mine today. They look like VERY well built pieces. Looking forward to getting it installed.

Sweet thanks. I usually do a search before I post a dumb question. But was havin beers and not thinking.
