Live and Learn, What makes it a REAL FUN day is finding out that it was my mistake and the machine isn't using oil. When I think about it now it makes sense to warm the engine first, being a dry sump but hindsight is always 20/20.
A guys gotta wonder if it's because of situations like this that Yamaha gives us these pretty blue and white books that are tittled "Owner's Manual". Called my buddy and he has been adding oil to his new Vector,
.........warmed it up checked it and he will be drawing it back out too!
This sight, it's members and mods are without exception the finest resource afforded a Yamaha owner. (As it turns out the owner's manual is the 2nd finest LOL).Thanks again, and thanks in advance!
