I was going through my sled, checking things out, when I looked into my airbox, and found oil/water mixture from my ROV hose is dripping into my airbox and saturating my filter. On the 20's there is a new hole drilled into the back of the airbox, with the hose routed inside the filter. This makes no sense to have this happening right above the clutches and belt. There is evidently moisture mixing with oil to cause the milky white discharge from the hose. Less than 500 miles and never been on its side.

Yup same thing on mine,
I noticed that liquid on my Percision lower panel guard at only 800km and I had a lot dripping down out of the air box, also had a big chunk frozen inside my air box.

Scroll to page 3, you will see a way to bypass the hose going into the filter box.
I guess it’s a emissions thing, hate to say it but I just added a barb connector and added a piece of hose to under the motor.

So they have changed this from the earlier models evidently, they used to dump the oil residue crap back into the charge tube just prior to the turbo.
Now the idiot engineers have decided to dump it into the airbox and let it run into the clutches when it builds up, saturates the filter and starts dripping out. Good grief, what morons!!!

Luckily the air box is tilted forward so the oily water runs down the front of the lower panel and not directly onto the clutches and belt lol..So they have changed this from the earlier models evidently, they used to dump the oil residue crap back into the charge tube just prior to the turbo.

Just the same old same old. We all had it back in 2017. I guess they found a new way to pre oil the filter!

Yes, but yours was a substance added to the filter. Seen my friend's 17 SW with it on. This was plumbed into the airbox, with oil leaking into it. The backside of the airbox was cut with a hole saw for this hose from the ROV. No foresight to oil on the clutches in the long runJust the same old same old. We all had it back in 2017. I have found that build up of white oil in the large tube behind my air filter every time I take the foam filter off - as has my buddy. Very simple to wipe out with a rag. 4,000 miles on mine and 7,000 on my buddies and it hasn't been an issue for either of us.
Yes I understand. It was a little tongue and cheek. The engineers never cease to amaze us with their foresight.

Anybody else have any issues? My mechanic rerouted with a 90 elbow and a hose added.

Nice..
Before last weekends ride which was about 760km, I just routed the hose to on top of the belly pan where you remove the oil filter and yesterday I took a look and you can clearly see quite a bit of the oily water all over the place.

I just had this happen on my cat, so you guys just reroute the hose going to the air box? You plug the hole where it mounted ? Mine had a lot of oil in it plus all over where it dropped out airbox .I was going through my sled, checking things out, when I looked into my airbox, and found oil/water mixture from my ROV hose is dripping into my airbox and saturating my filter. Yes, plug the hole and reroute the hose, clean up the oil and you’re good to go.
