Oil Reservoir almost empty

I would still be concerned about it. I dont see how it can fill up the engine unless you have a breather connected wrong or something. Also when its on its side it will leak out oil everywhere, hence why there are people offering roll over kits with a valve to keep the oil from escaping the breather hose.

I dont get it physics says its impossible to fill the engine that is the same height as the oil tank through the bottom hose.

When you tipped it up on its side did you have a dealer look at it or have to mess with anything afterwards? Seems like that is the culprit.

I am no expert , but on the apex pdf manual , if you look at the parts blowup of the oil pump, it does have a check ball valve that might be an anti drainback valve. ;)!

There is a check valve in the system but it checks it from oil going back into the tank. So it lets oil into the engine but not back to the tank skipping the motor.

On other test would be to start it warm it up good and shut it off and see how much oil is in the tank. Let it sit for a week or so and see if all the oil drained into the engine.

I think your saying that already but just trying to make sure you can replicate it.

Something is a miss...
